Apollo (Movement I: Theia) — Mallet Ensemble

I collaborated with composer Marc Mellits to create a custom mallet ensemble arrangement of Apollo, Movement I (Theia), originally written for wind quintet. Marc re‑imagined the movement specifically for keyboard percussion, shaping the material to feel natural, resonant, and idiomatic on mallet instruments.

The result is a flexible, recital‑ready arrangement that preserves the rhythmic energy and character of the original while fully embracing the color and expressive range of marimba and vibraphone.
